Concept of a cyber-physical system for technical diagnostics and monitoring of railway automation and telemechanics devices
In this article, based on an analysis of the challenges in automating the management of transportation processes and the increasing complexity of operating technical systems, the authors reveal the necessity of developing a concept of cyberphysical systems for technical diagnostics and continuous monitoring of railway automation and remote-control elements. The paper describes a five-level architecture of a cyber-physical system that integrates physical devices, sensors, digital twins, cognitive algorithms, and logical elements. The results demonstrate that the proposed concept, as a tool of the Fourth Industrial Revolution, will enhance the efficiency and reliability of railway automation and remote-control devices.
