Methods of integral assessment of skill formation levels in operators using a computer simulator
An automated method for assessing the level of skill formation in operators of food production facilities during the monitoring of exercise course completion on a computer-based training complex (CTC) has been developed. This method differs from existing approaches by employing mathematical models, algorithms, and a dynamic set of parameters for the stepwise processing of data on exercise performance by individual trainees or groups in the virtual environment of the CTC, with the objective of determining integral assessments of skill mastery as the automation of actions. A prototype of specialized software and informational support for an automated CTC monitoring system has been developed for training operators of technological installations in sensorimotor skills. Its application enables the implementation of tasks such as configuring and performing exercises by operators, taking into account the properties of simulated processes in the CTC’s virtual environment, as well as the collection, processing, and visualization of information for monitoring the formation of required skills. The considered CTC includes a subsystem implemented as a web application. The integration of the obtained results into the CTC software enables a more precise and detailed assessment of professional skill acquisition during operator training in food production, thereby facilitating improved monitoring of training outcomes and, if necessary, adjustment of training courses. The theoretical and practical results obtained in the field of simulator technologies can be adapted for personnel training in various industries and types of production.
