Os Caminhos que nos Levam...
This article consists of a narrative text, permeating different aspects of reflections on teaching experiences based on a master’s research developed in the Postgraduate Program in Geography at the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul (POSGEA/UFRGS) and participation in the Institutional Teacher Initiation Scholarship Program (PIBID). It aims to understand the relationship between being a teacher, the construction of teaching identity, and “teaching” Geography classes, reflecting on the paths that constitute us as teachers, since teacher training and teaching take place in the interweaving between different spaces and relationships throughout our life history and our formative journey. We seek, through the (auto)biographical method and the device of (auto)biographical narratives, the lenses to rethink teacher training, (re)signifying teaching experiences as a fundamental ingredient in this process.
