Os Impactos da Poluição Ambiental no Rio Acaraú, Tamboril - CE

Environmental pollution has become a public order problem, as it substantially affects our lives and affects the relationship between humans and nature. Given the urgent needs of the contemporary world, there is a great need to implement effective government and civil society actions to preserve natural resources, which are essential to maintaining the ecosystem balance on planet Earth. In this sense, this article aimed to investigate the impacts of environmental pollution and its consequences on the Acaraú River in Tamboril - CE. To this end, the approach of ths research was qualitative and field research, in which it was possible to observe the main environmental impacts. In Tamboril - CE, we can see the connivance of the government regarding the pollution of the Acaraú River, the inefficiency of environmental monitoring, and even the (lack of) knowledge of the responsible agencies regarding the need to protect natural resources.
