Educação Ambiental para as mudanças climáticas no ensino de Geografia do 1º ano do ensino médio

The aim of this research is to systematize a pedagogical proposal on climate change, under the bias of environmental education in Geography Teaching in the 1st year of High School based on the Caatinga biome, based on the Pernambuco Geography curriculum in line with the BNCC. To develop the proposal, written texts, audiovisual resources (documentaries and interactive maps) were suggested, as well as the construction of a board and a podcast. As a result, it was possible to see the indispensability of the theme of climate change in the teaching of Geography based on Environmental Education. Finally, after applying the proposal, it is hoped that the students will identify and understand the causes, agents and consequences of climate change in the biome and indicate solutions or ways of minimizing the problem studied, thus contributing to their environmental awareness and fostering the multiplication of eco-literate citizens.
