Pesquisas sobre formação continuada do professor-formador e núcleos de significação como metodologia de análise (2003-2024)

This article is rooted in questions and reflections on the training of teachers who have the role of contributing to the training of other teachers and the scientific field of training and professional development as a space for social, cultural, political and economic markings. The training of teacher educators was taken as the object of study, in close relation with the data analysis methodology called nuclei of meaning. To this end, research of the state of knowledge type was outlined, aiming to map the theses and dissertations related to the training of teacher educators, using the nuclei of meaning as the analysis methodology. The methodological path was outlined considering the bibliographic survey inherent to the state of knowledge. The Brazilian Digital Library of Theses and Dissertations - BDTD was chosen as the database for accessing theses and dissertations and the time frame was established from 2003 to 2024, starting from the year of the first scientific production found. The study highlights the complexity of continuing education for teacher trainers and the importance of research that considers the meanings in movement that are produced by subjects in their formative actions/knowledge.
