Vídeos e redes sociais
The present work aims to present and analyze the scope of the activity “Mathematical Curiosities” developed by students of the Tutorial Education Program (PET), at a Federal University, which produces mathematical videos to be posted on the group's Instagram social network. Thus, through a qualitative approach, we seek to understand the trajectory and reach of the publications through an analysis of the so-called insights from the videos until June 2024. The data indicates a relationship between shares and the number of views of the videos, thus covering a larger network of possible people to watch the reels. In this way, it is concluded that the production of mathematical videos by the PET group involves creativity and engagement of undergraduates in search of more accessible and inspiring mathematics, which promotes meaningful learning among different audiences.
