Innovations in partnerships and distribution in real estate and construction: opening business for investors, importation and distribution of inputs, and lessons from Latin America

This article analyzes innovations in partnerships and distribution within the real estate and construction sectors, with a focus on business opening for investors, importation of construction inputs, and distribution strategies. Drawing on lessons from Latin America, the study highlights how public-private partnerships, joint ventures, and investor-developer platforms can reduce market entry barriers. It also discusses supply-chain innovations, such as procurement consortia, digital inventory systems, and cross-border logistics strategies, that improve efficiency and resilience. By synthesizing empirical research and institutional reports, the analysis demonstrates that successful innovations rely on a combination of organizational arrangements, technological adoption, and social legitimacy. The findings suggest that Latin American experiences provide transferable insights for global real estate markets, particularly in contexts with regulatory challenges and high dependence on imported inputs.
