On the Design of a Knowledge Elements Accumulation Three-Dimensional (3D) Model

This study intended to lead a facet analysis on the structure of knowledge from the macro level. On the basis of previous researches, this study divided knowledge into three dimensions: Conceptual Knowledge (CK), Procedural Knowledge (PK) and Intellectual Knowledge (IK). Besides, this study further proposed a definition of knowledge element (kel), put forward a Faceted Knowledge Elements Accumulation (FKelsA) Three-dimensional (3D) Model. Finally, this study briefly discussed the application of the FKelsA 3D Model in teaching and learning.

Abstract

This study intended to lead a facet analysis on the structure of knowledge from the macro level. On the basis of previous researches, this study divided knowledge into three dimensions: Conceptual Knowledge (CK), Procedural Knowledge (PK) and Intellectual Knowledge (IK). Besides, this study further proposed a definition of knowledge element (kel), put forward a Faceted Knowledge Elements Accumulation (FKelsA) Three-dimensional (3D) Model. Finally, this study briefly discussed the application of the FKelsA 3D Model in teaching and learning.
