Automation in Honey Extraction: A Smart Harvesting Approach
The Arduino UNO functions as the controller for this project, operating the complete system. The system employs infrared sensors for intelligent detection, while DC motors drive the automation component of the project. This project aims to implement a smart automation system for the honey harvesting of stingless bees. An infrared proximity sensor accurately detects the honey level in the vessel, while an Arduino UNO controls the movement of the extraction head in multiple directions. This system offers an efficient and innovative solution for improving honey harvesting practices in the stingless bee industry. The advancement of this initiative could reduce the duration required for farmers to extract honey from each hive. The farmer merely needs to activate the switch to operate the device.
