Performance Assessment of Wheat Straw-Based Eco-Friendly Microwave Absorbers with CNT Additive Enhancement
Wheat straw, a largely untapped agricultural byproduct, has been investigated as a sustainable base material for microwave absorbers. The study evaluates the dielectric behavior of these absorbers using the transmission line approach and examines the effect of incorporating carbon nanotubes (CNTs) at 2% and 4% concentrations. Both experimental and simulated analyses, performed using CST Microwave Studio, reveal that adding CNTs enhances the absorption efficiency of wheat straw composites, highlighting their promise as environmentally friendly solutions for electromagnetic wave mitigation.
