Research on Flying Car HUD Display Design Under Complex Environmental Coupling

As an emerging transportation mode, flying cars pose unprecedented challenges to Head-Up Display (HUD) systems due to the cross-dimensional nature of their operating environments. This study systematically investigates the coupling mechanisms of environmental complexity, meteorological conditions, and illuminance on HUD display performance. Through virtual simulation platforms, we quantified visual displays in three typical scenarios: urban canyons, offshore control areas, and desert airspace, revealing the modulating effects of environment-weather interactions on information perception. Based on experimental data, we innovatively developed an adaptive brightness adjustment model for flying car HUDs, achieving precise dynamic brightness adjustment under complex environments. The research findings not only fill the theoretical gap in HUD static display under multi-environmental coupling conditions but also provide empirical support for flying car human-machine interface design, which has significant application value for improving driving safety and cognitive efficiency in special driving scenarios.
