The Correlation Between Enjoyment and Student Autonomy in A Game-Based Online Learning Environment
In the AI era in education with advancements in educational technology, educators explore alternative teaching methods that foster greater engagement and interaction. The challenge has led to growing interest in adopting a new teaching and learning method through a game-based learning (GBL) application that enhances student motivation, engagement, and knowledge retention. The objective of this study is to review the correlation between enjoyment and student autonomy in the game-based online learning environment. A model has been proposed based on literature review and visualising bibliometric networks.
