The Impact of Generative Artificial Intelligence Literacy and Use on College Students' Personalized Learning
With the wide application of Generative Artificial Intelligence (GAI) in universities, more and more college students use GAI tools to assist their learning. This study aims to explore the impact of college students' generative AI literacy and the use of GAI tools on personalized learning. Questionnaires were distributed to college students with experience in using GAI in Yunnan Province, and 480 valid questionnaires were finally collected. Through empirical research, it is found that: GAI literacy has a significant positive impact on personalized learning. At the same time, the behavior of asking questions using GAI tools has a positive role in promoting the personalized development of college students. In addition, the study also discusses the impact of different types of questions on personalized learning. It is found that the three types of questions that tend to be low-cognitive fixed answers, high-cognitive fixed answers and high-cognitive unfixed answers are more conducive to personalized learning. Through the conclusion of the research, it is expected to provide empirical support and strategic suggestions for the personalized learning of students empowered by GAI in the field of higher education.
