Smart MCB Management : Trip Alert and Remote Reset

In many households, power outages caused by a tripped main switch are a common issue. Such disruptions can lead to various inconveniences, such as spoiled food in the fridge and a loss of productivity. To prevent further complications when a trip occurs, there is a need for a system that can notify the user and enable remote reactivation of the power. This project aims to develop a notification system for tripped main switches using Internet of Things (IoT) technology. The system utilizes a push button switch as the primary input. For notifications, an NodeMCU ESP 8266 and the Blynk application are integrated to establish an internet connection with the circuit. A servo motor is employed to automatically switch the MCB back on. The motor is connected to a mechanism that interacts with the MCB, allowing it to be pulled back into the "ON" position. This project provides a convenient and efficient solution to address the power outage to the users and remotely reconnect the supply.
