Underwater Target Parameter Optimization Method Based on Radial Velocity

Accurate estimation of underwater target parameters is crucial for modern marine defense systems, as obtaining more precise target data provides a strategic advantage. Addressing the current technical limitation of underutilized sonar radial velocity measurements, this study proposes an optimization method for underwater target parameter estimation based on radial velocity, solved using a genetic algorithm. The results demonstrate that, compared to the original noise trajectory approach, the proposed radial velocity-based optimization method reduces azimuth and range deviations, significantly improving the accuracy of underwater target parameter estimation. This method exhibits considerable practical value for enhancing sonar performance in marine defense applications.
