Concentric Circular Arrays Optimization Using Nature Inspired Techniques
Due to the excellent directivity and strong beam steering capabilities, circular concentric array antenna (CCAA) are frequently preferred over large circular array antennas. In contrast to single circular arrays, they have more complicated geometry and computations. In this work, novel evolutionary computing technologies are used to optimize the CCAA. With the beam width constraint, side lobe level is optimized using the optimization tools. The simulation based experimentation is carried out in MATLAB®.
