Analysis of Receiver Positioning Accuracy under Different Reference Modes
The receiver is an instrument that receives GPS satellite signals and determines the spatial position on the ground, capable of providing services to a wide range of users on land, at sea, and in space. The positioning accuracy of the receiver will affect the timing performance of users. To test and verify the impact of different reference modes on the positioning accuracy of the receiver, this paper selects the Ublox receiver and conducts tests and comparisons under three modes: using the receiver's internal clock, external reference rubidium atomic clock, and external reference cesium atomic clock. The test results show that the positioning accuracy in the external reference mode is better than that in the internal clock mode. Using a more precise clock reference can better reduce errors. When using the external reference cesium atomic clock, the 95% difference values in the XYZ axis directions are within 2m, and the standard deviations are all stable within 1m. In the internal clock mode, the 95% difference values in the XYZ axis directions are within 5m, and the standard deviations are less stable compared to the external reference mode. This can provide a reference and basis for users to calibrate antenna positioning and timing.
