IntrusionCaughtEye: Smart Security System
In light of the growing concern of theft and innocent people accessing restricted areas, security is one of the most important issues today, and I think CCTV cameras are highly ineffective as they do basic surveillance and do not prevent crime. Even if a person is monitoring the footage, their response is delayed, which can result in critical losses, and this project amends this problem completely with the implementation of the YOLO algorithm motion detection and facial recognition technology to create a powerful automated security system. The data suggests the system performed at a strongly positive level considering that police are interested in classification accuracy greater than 90 %. Other evidence includes precision-recall metrics remaining higher than 0.91 and an AUC of 0.94 on the ROC curve. The model significantly minimized misclassification errors to give correct answers in <tex xmlns:mml="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink">$\text{9 2 \%}$</tex> of all the outcomes.
