Skin Cancer Detection Using Coplanar Waveguide Antenna Sensor
Cancer is a dangerous health issue among many other ailments. Over one in three individuals will experience cancer at some point in their lives. In this case, the most prevalent type of cancer is skin cancer. To detect skin cancer, a high-quality factor CPW-fed antenna sensor is designed at 2.47 GHz to operate in the ISM band. The suggested antenna seeks to provide early and non-invasive skin cancer detection by taking use of the differences in the dielectric constants of muscle, fat, and skin tissues. The suggested antenna design has been refined to increase its sensitivity to variations in the dielectric constants linked to both malignant and healthy skin tissues. This study highlights the possible clinical uses for noninvasive skin cancer screening in addition to the technical elements of antenna construction.
