Research on Calibration and Correction Techniques for Detection Sonar Positioning Error

In order to solve the problem of false negatives and false positives in detecting small targets for underwater surveillance system, from the perspective of reducing systematic errors, the paper proposes a systematic error calculation model using combined method (azimuth-distance method) regression to distance and azimuth to correct the systematic error. This model can eliminate systematic errors in bearing and range during sonar relative positioning, improve the localization accuracy of small underwater targets and achieve rapid and effective elimination of false alarm targets, provide corresponding technical support for underwater safety. Finally, semi physical simulation experiments verify the effectiveness of the model in improving underwater target detection and recognition..
