Ship borne Near Space Environment Detection System based on Rayleigh Scattering
The main function of the shipborne near space environment detection system is to detect the density and temperature of the near space environment above the ship under clear weather conditions at night. The system mainly consists of multiple parts such as a pulse laser emitting unit, a large aperture telescope receiving unit, a data acquisition and control unit, and a data processing and analysis unit; Its working principle is to utilize the Rayleigh scattering effect of atmospheric molecules on the incident laser, using a laser as the radiation source, and measuring the scattering signal intensity of atmospheric molecules on the emitted laser through a large aperture telescope, in order to invert parameters such as atmospheric density and atmospheric temperature. This system fills the gap in the detection capability of the near space environment over important marine areas in China. This paper briefly describes the basic components and related concepts of a shipborne near space environment detection system, derives its data inversion principle, and provides a theoretical basis for subsequent detection of near space environments.
