Joint Clearing Strategy for New Energy Storage and Multi-Source Integration in Electricity Spot Markets
The participation of new energy storage in electricity spot markets is crucial for enhancing system flexibility, promoting renewable energy integration, and ensuring grid stability. However, challenges such as unclear profit models, uncertain revenue cycles, and imperfect market mechanisms persist. To address these issues, this paper proposes a joint clearing model for energy storage and multi-source integration, optimizing the coordinated dispatch of storage systems with diverse energy resources (e.g., wind, solar, and thermal power). Compared to standalone energy storage clearing strategies, the multi-source joint clearing strategy significantly improves storage utilization and market revenue.
