Design of Substrate Integrated Waveguide Antennas for Terahertz Imaging Applications
Terahertz frequency-based technologies have sparked the interest of many researchers due to their unique capabilities in threat analysis and behavior upon interaction with different materials. For the incorporation of such systems with transceiver architectures on chip, it is necessary to develop antenna systems that are compact, lightweight and easily integrable, while also ensuring This paper focuses primarily on the design and simulation of substrate integrated waveguide antennas for operating in the Terahertz range. It aims to study and analyze various methods for gain enhancement, bandwidth improvement and to achieve good directivity.
