A characterization of strongly discrete Prüfer domains in view of strong representability

In this paper, we characterize the secondary modules over strongly discrete Prüfer domains. Let [Formula: see text] be a finite dimensional domain. We show that [Formula: see text] is a strongly discrete Prüfer domain if and only if every ∗-representable [Formula: see text]-module is strongly representable and every primary ideal of [Formula: see text] is a power of its radical, for each maximal ideal [Formula: see text] of [Formula: see text].

Abstract

In this paper, we characterize the secondary modules over strongly discrete Prüfer domains. Let [Formula: see text] be a finite dimensional domain. We show that [Formula: see text] is a strongly discrete Prüfer domain if and only if every ∗-representable [Formula: see text]-module is strongly representable and every primary ideal of [Formula: see text] is a power of its radical, for each maximal ideal [Formula: see text] of [Formula: see text].
