Pengaruh Fasilitas dan Pengalaman Wisatawan terhadap Minat Berkunjung Kembali melalui Kepuasan Wisatawan

Tourism is one of the key sectors that significantly contributes to regional development, including in Brebes Regency. However, the intense competition among tourist destinations requires managers to understand the factors influencing tourists’ intention to revisit. This study aims to examine the influence of tourism facilities and tourist experiences on revisit intention, with tourist satisfaction as a mediating variable. A quantitative approach was employed using accidental sampling with 150 respondents who had previously visited tourist attractions in Brebes Regency. Data were analyzed with Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) based on Partial Least Square (PLS) using SmartPLS version 4. The results reveal that tourist experiences and satisfaction significantly enhance revisit intention, while tourism facilities show no significant effect. Theoretically, this study enriches the literature on the mediating role of tourist satisfaction in tourism studies. Practically, the findings suggest that tourism managers in Brebes Regency should prioritize improving tourist experiences to strengthen revisit intention.

Abstract

Tourism is one of the key sectors that significantly contributes to regional development, including in Brebes Regency. However, the intense competition among tourist destinations requires managers to understand the factors influencing tourists’ intention to revisit. This study aims to examine the influence of tourism facilities and tourist experiences on revisit intention, with tourist satisfaction as a mediating variable.
