A Home for Men's Health—Your Voice, Our Mission
Welcome to Trends in Urology and Men's Health—a journal with renewed purpose and bold ambition: to become the leading platform for everything related to men's health. For too long, men's health has been underserved. It has often been overlooked in policy, underrepresented in clinical training, and rarely prioritised in public health initiatives. We are committed to changing that. Whether addressing physical or psychological wellbeing, early diagnosis or long-term care, our journal seeks to raise awareness and promote equity in the treatment and support of men. We believe men's health should not be confined to any single specialty. That's why we are creating a space where clinicians, researchers, auditors, educators, and campaigners from all backgrounds can collaborate. Cross-disciplinary dialogue is not only welcomed but essential. We hope these conversations will develop further not only within the journal but also its increasing online and social media presence. Importantly, our mission extends beyond professionals. We aim to develop trustworthy, accessible resources for patients, recognising that informed individuals are better equipped to take charge of their health. This journal is also committed to supporting the next generation of contributors. We want to hear from passionate individuals willing to challenge convention, drive innovation, and advocate for change. If you are involved in research, audit, education, or campaigning, we want to hear from you! Ultimately, our mission is to help close the gender gap in men's health awareness and policy. Men's health deserves to be recognised as a public health priority and collaboration will help make that happen. We invite you to share your ideas to help us raise the profile of men's health. In turn we will do our very best to listen, learn, and respond with purpose. The author declares no conflicts of interest.
