Simulation study on collaborative governance of passenger car consumption upgrading driven by new quality productivity

New quality productivity, with “green, efficient, digital intelligence” as its core characteristics, is driving China's passenger car consumption demand to transition towards intelligence and electrification. In response to the question of how the Chinese passenger car market, technology, and government can play a role in achieving consumption upgrading under the drive of new quality productivity, this study constructs a “policy technology demand” dynamic coupling collaborative governance model and reveals this relationship through Vensim simulation. Research has found that an increase in government subsidy intensity will enhance the penetration rate of new energy in China, strengthening technological investment will increase the penetration rate of intelligent connected vehicles. It is suggested that the government implement precise policies to promote consumption upgrading, adapt enterprise technology to demand differentiation, guide consumer demand and build capacity, and jointly promote the upgrading of passenger car consumption and the coordinated development of the industry.
