Piezoelectricity in a mixture of chiral 1D hybrid lead bromide and iodide systems

A mixture of 1D chiral hybrid halides ( R -MBA)PbBr 3 and ( R -MBA)PbI 3 show higher piezoelectric output than each component. Incorporating it into a polymer matrix improves voltage response and mechanical flexibility, demonstrating a doormat sensor.

Abstract

A mixture of 1D chiral hybrid halides ( R -MBA)PbBr 3 and ( R -MBA)PbI 3 show higher piezoelectric output than each component. Incorporating it into a polymer matrix improves voltage response and mechanical flexibility, demonstrating a doormat sensor.
