Research on the Strategy of Discipline Competition to Promote the Training of Civil Engineering Professionals Under the Background of New Engineering

With the rapid development of global economy and science and technology, universities are facing new challenges in training innovative talents.The new engineering has provided a new perspective for the teaching reform in colleges and universities.Aiming at the role of discipline competition in the training of civil engineering students under the new engineering background and the existing problems, this paper puts forward some solutions.Through theoretical analysis and practical cases, this paper expounds how discipline competition becomes an important way to improve students' innovative thinking, practical ability and team cooperation, and puts forward specific implementation strategies from the aspects of teaching reform, competition system construction and teacher training.
