Design and Application of a Digital Teaching Platform for Preschool Children based on Virtual Reality Technology

In the age of technology, early childhood education is embracing technology more and more to utilize learning interest and intellect building. Conventional methods of instruction and even traditional e-learning solutions are found lacking in their ability to draw the attention of preschool kids and meet their interaction demands because of their static, text-rich, and non-engaging nature. Current systems mostly employ tablet-based or video-based modules which involve minimal sensory stimulation, have no real-time responsiveness, and cannot monitor emotional involvement dynamically. To overcome such challenges, this research puts forward a Virtual Reality technology-driven digital teaching platform specifically designed for preschool children. The platform uses AI modules to evaluate performance, monitor emotional moods, and suggest personalized learning routes using models such as Deep learning and Reinforcement Learning. In contrast to the available static platforms, our solution provides interactive real-time feedback and adaptive intelligence to the learner's behavior and engagement level. The platform was tested with a custom-simulated dataset, where performance metrics included accuracy, learning outcome prediction, and response time. The proposed model performed exceptionally with 98.5% accuracy, 98.8% precision, 98.5% recall, and 98.6% F1-score, outperforming traditional machine learning and rule-based testing systems. The results attest to the system's viability as an intelligent, adaptive, and child-friendly learning aid for young children.
