Design and Application of a Web based Platform for Sharing Ideological and Political Teaching Resources in Higher Vocational

The college students are at the crucial stage of establishing their world outlook, view of life and values. Colleges and universities bear the serious responsibility of fostering students into talents with political conceptions, moral feelings and sound psychology, thus enabling the party to succeed others in its great cause. The root mission of higher education is to foster people by virtue, of which virtue should be the main mission. Since higher vocational students are in a formative stage of developing their perspectives, they need effective guidance. Therefore, this study proposes an online teaching platform for ideological and political education in higher education institutions, built using the Python-SQLite framework. Linux is chosen as the system development environment, PHP as the platform development script language, and the ThinkPHP framework is brought in to enhance the system functions of the teaching platform, where linear regression is used as the major learning model to understand the underlying ideologies. Ultimately, the system integrates both qualitative and quantitative Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) methods to evaluate the effectiveness of ideological and political education. It further employs a functional linear regression model as the statistical basis for analyzing real-world educational data, thereby enhancing the instructional framework for ideological and political studies in higher vocational education institutions.
