A Digital AGC Design Method Based on RF Digitization
The signal AGC processing technology is an important processing method for analog voice demodulation. The automatic gain control of the traditional digital intermediate frequency receiver adopts the way of coordinated adjustment of external AGC and internal AGC to improve the dynamic performance of the link. This method is only suitable for narrowband receivers and cannot solve the pop noise problem in demodulation. This paper proposes a digital AGC design method based on RF digitization, which removes the external AGC, optimizes the internal AGC, simplifies the processing link, and solves the pop noise problem in voice. This method has been implemented in FPGA and applied to the system, with good use effect.
