Research on Real time Scheduling Method of Embedded Operating System Based on Soft PLC Control
Conventional real-time scheduling methods for embedded operating systems primarily employ SCHED_FIFO and time-slice round-robin algorithms to acquire task resource features. However, their dependency on bidirectional cyclic linked lists introduces additional pointer maintenance overhead, ultimately degrading scheduling performance due to increased cache misses. By utilizing soft PLC control to generate real-time scheduling processes for embedded operating systems, optimizing scheduling parameters, and thus completing real-time scheduling. The experimental results show that the real-time scheduling method controlled by the designed embedded operating system soft PLC has good scheduling performance, excellent scheduling indicators, reliability, and certain application value. It has made a certain contribution to meeting the control requirements of embedded operating systems and reducing their operational risks.
