Energy-Efficient Multipath Connectivity in WSNs Using a Novel Scheduling and Clustering Approach for IoT Applications
WSNs consist of distributive sensor nodes which work together to measure physical or environmental conditions. The limited power reserves in these nodes establishes energy efficiency as their design priority point. This paper introduces NSCA as a new approach to improve WSN network connectivity by using multipath technology. NSCA sets itself apart from standard methods which concentrate on throughput enhancement because this scheme combines scheduling algorithms with interference-based channel modeling for optimizing mobile node link selection. A two-step process defines the operation of the proposed algorithm. The first stage of the algorithm establishes vital connectivity links and then activates the clustering model to select the best Cluster Head for network connectivity management. NSCA achieves minimum overhead through its design approach which supports quick operation along with high efficiency. The simulation outcomes demonstrate that NSCA delivers better energy conservation along with longer network operation time than contemporary methods.
