Research on GPU Virtualization Scheme in Domestic Embedded Virtualization Platform Based on Rust
This paper proposes a lightweight GPU virtualization solution for domestic embedded platforms based on the Rust-based Type-I hypervisor ReVMM. By integrating VFIO passthrough and Mdev-based partitioning, the design achieves efficient GPU sharing with strong isolation and real-time performance. Leveraging Rust’s safety features, the architecture enhances reliability in constrained environments. Preliminary evaluations and security tests validate its effectiveness, offering a promising path for secure and efficient GPU virtualization in embedded scenarios.
