Prediction of Electric Field Distribution in Microwave Heating under Different Relative Phase Differences Based on a Numerical Model

In the process of microwave heating, the electric field distribution reflects the spatial distribution of energy inside the cavity. By optimizing the electric field distribution, the heating performance can be effectively improved. This study predicts the electric field distribution under different relative phase differences. Firstly, to better reflect the resonant field structure and reduce prediction errors, microwave sources on the same side are initially combined, and a numerical model is established based on the principle of wave superposition. Then, a system identification method is introduced to calibrate the model parameters, further reducing prediction errors and improving the accuracy of the model. Experimental results show that the proposed method can significantly improve the accuracy of electric field prediction, providing effective support for the development of phase control strategies in microwave heating.
