Memristor-Based Neural Network Circuit of Pavlov Associative Memory With Time Delay
Most Pavlov associative memory neural networks based on memory neural networks strictly require that only the simultaneous presence of a food and a bell produce an associative memory. In this paper, we consider a time delay so that an associative memory is formed when the food stimulus lags the bell stimulus by a certain amount of time. In this paper, a time-delayed Pavlov associative memory circuit based on a memristor is investigated and simulated, and its main functions include:(1) A neuronal circuit based on a memristor was constructed to realize the learning and forgetting processes of Pavlov’s associative memory experiment.(2) The rate of learning in associative memory can vary with the length of time between the ringing stimulus and the food.(3) The Memristor-based time-delay neural network proposed in this paper realizes the functions of learning, forgetting, fast learning, slow forgetting and different degrees of time-delayed learning. These processes are realized in a single simulation, eliminating the need for manually controlled transitions.
