Research on Carbon Emission Accounting of 10kV Major Distribution Equipment Based on Life Cycle Assessment
Against the backdrop of global climate warming and my country’s “dual carbon” strategic goals, carbon emission accounting for distribution equipment faces key challenges such as inconsistent system boundary division and lagging carbon emission data classification methods. Traditional accounting methods cannot quantify carbon emissions in terms of material selection and other aspects. This paper introduces life cycle assessment to evaluate the carbon emissions of 10kV main distribution equipment, innovatively build a “five-stage and five-factor” carbon emission accounting model, divide five stages, and quantify five types of carbon emission sources. By establishing a model to quantify the proportion of carbon emissions at different stages, we can realize carbon emission traceability from micro-equipment to macro-grids, and reveal the characteristics of the equipment’s entire life cycle carbon footprint. Specific methods are proposed to further realize the carbon reduction strategy research.
