Torque Ripple Suppression of BLDCM Based on Model Prediction Optimization of Duty Cycle
The brushless DC motor usually adopts the drive scheme of two-phase conduction six-step control, but because of the periodic torque pulsation, its application in high precision is limited. A model predictive optimization duty cycle control strategy is proposed. The scheme combines model predictive control strategy and the three-phase modulation strategy, controls the change rates of the off-phase and non-commutation current during commutation, and optimizes the duty cycle combination with the minimum commutation time. The current in the non-commutating phase can remain stable throughout commutation in the full speed domain, effectively reducing the torque ripple. The simulation results verify the effectiveness of this theory in reducing commutation torque pulsations.
