Cryptocurrency-Powered Blockchain for Secure Product Authentication and Anti-Counterfeiting

A major global concern., counterfeit items hurt brand reputations., pose safety risks., and result in large financial losses in a variety of industries., including consumer goods., luxury goods., technology., and pharmaceuticals. Holograms and barcodes are examples of traditional authentication techniques that can be copied and altered. The Anti-Counterfeit Product Identification System Using Blockchain is a decentralized., transparent system that uses blockchain technology., smart contracts., and QR codes to guarantee product authenticity and traceability in order to address these issues. To ensure that product data is unchangeable and verifiable., the system incorporates the Ethereum blockchain., a tamper-proof and trustless platform. Solidity-written smart contracts carry out the authentication mechanism., ensuring safe., automated transactions free from middlemen. Every product has a unique QR code that can be scanned by stakeholders and customers using a React-based web interface to confirm product specifications. While PostgreSQL handles extra product details., the Node.js-built backend makes it easier for the blockchain and user interface to communicate. Hardhat is used in the development environment to expedite the deployment and testing of smart contracts. Manufacturers., retailers., and consumers may improve supply chain transparency., decrease fraud., and boost confidence by putting this blockchain-based anti-counterfeiting solution into place. This strategy encourages moral corporate conduct and legal compliance in addition to reducing the flow of fake goods. The study examines the benefits., design., and application of this technology-driven strategy against counterfeiting., showcasing how it may transform product authentication in a number of different sectors.
