Maintenance Threshold Optimization for Engines Based on Degradation State Modeling
This study focuses on the degradation characteristics of key components in aero-engines under complex operational conditions and conducts an optimization of maintenance thresholds based on degradation state modeling. First, a natural degradation model is constructed by combining a Wiener process and a Gamma process, while a Poisson process is employed to model random shock-induced degradation, thereby systematically characterizing the evolution of equipment states. Second, a maintenance performance evaluation model is established using the cost-effectiveness ratio as the core metric, clarifying the impact of maintenance thresholds on both lifecycle performance and economic outcomes. On this basis, an optimized maintenance threshold decision-making process is designed, and simulation is conducted to analyze the variation trends of maintenance performance under different thresholds. The simulation results indicate that a well-chosen maintenance threshold can significantly improve maintenance performance by achieving an optimal balance between maintenance costs and equipment availability.
