Event‐driven intermittent H∞$$ {H}_{\infty } $$ tracking control for high‐speed trains with actuator saturation
Abstract This paper is dedicated to studying the event‐driven intermittent tracking control problem of high‐speed trains with actuator saturation and external disturbances. First, a persistent control strategy is designed for high‐speed trains with external disturbances to ensure both the local and string stabilities by virtue of control. Second, an event‐driven intermittent tracking control strategy implementation is further developed with considering actuator saturation, which still guarantees the leader‐following consensus in despite of limiting the amplitude of control input and reducing the activation time of controller. There exists a trade‐off between the activation time of controller and the system control performance. By designing the event‐triggering mechanisms, the activation time of intermittent controller can be adjusted such that the trade‐off can be balanced. The proposed control scheme is also effective in meeting the performance of intermittent control systems. Finally, simulations are provided to verify the effectiveness and superiority of the theoretical results.
