Izgon duhovnikov iz kranjske in radovljiške dekanije leta 1941
The Expulsion of Priests from the Kranj and Radovljica Deaneries in 1941 In 1941, the Second World War reached the Kingdom of Yugoslavia. The territory of the deaneries of Kranj and Radovljica fell under the control of Nazi Germany, which promptly initiated measures aimed at securing its long-term presence in the region. Clergy, traditionally regarded as bearers of national identity throughout Slovenian history, were, together with nationally conscious teachers, craftsmen, physicians, and other members of the intelligentsia, forcibly deported to Croatia and Serbia. The article discusses the fate of the clergy from the Kranj and Radovljica deaneries in the year 1941.
