RESEARCH ON THE MUTATION OF SPECTRUM RESPONSE OF THE INTAKE NOISE IN AIR COMPRESSOR SYSTEM BASED ON THE EFFECT OF INTAKE EXTENSION

Intake noise is a critical diagnostic indicator for air compressor system control. However, mass distribution variations and sound wave propagation pose diagnostic challenges, particularly in branch muffler analysis. To address the mutation mechanism of intake noise, this study established a resonant cavity radiation model based on lumped parameter theory. An algorithmic model was developed to investigate the extension of the intake channel into the resonant cavity. This model analyzed the system noise response and reduction characteristics effected by intake channel extension.Experimental tests validated the theoretical conclusions, with results agreeing well with model predictions. The research systematically examined the silencing characteristics induced by intake channel extension, providing methodological guidance for motor noise reduction.
