Evolutionary Analysis of College Students' Career Identity Theme Based on LDA Model

Objective: To explore the hot topics and evolutionary characteristics of college students' career identity research, and to predict the employment orientation of college students. Methods: Using the Chinese Social Sciences Citation Index (CSSCI) included in the three major databases of CNKI, Wanfang Data and VIP Consulting as the data source, the LDA topic model was used to identify text content, divide topics and predict the trend of topic evolution. Results: Four hot topics were extracted: mental health (Topic 1), digital impact (Topic 2), career path (Topic 3), and employment gap (Topic 4). Conclusion: By promoting the innovation of career cognitive mode and development path, the flexibility and sustainability of career adaptation can be significantly improved, and the career identity of college students can be promoted to a new stage of development of policy-driven employment, technological adaptability and occupational mobility.
