Research on the Application of Bloom+PBL Teaching Model in Engineering Surveying Course Instruction

In order to explore the effect of Bloom +PBL teaching method in engineering surveying course, 225 undergraduate students majoring in engineering cost in Grade 2020 and Grade 2021 of a university management college were selected as research objects and divided into two groups. Among them, 113 students in Class 1 of Grade 2020 and Class 1 of Grade 2021 were treated with traditional teaching method as control group, while 112 students in Class 2 of Grade 2020 and Class 2 of Grade 2021 were treated with Bloom +PBL teaching method as experimental group. The academic performance of the two groups was evaluated comprehensively by process evaluation (30%), experimental operation examination (20%) and final comprehensive test (50%). The results show that the experimental group students 'scores are significantly better than those of the control group in terms of total course scores, daily performance, experimental operation and final test; the experimental group students' average scores are also higher than those of the control group in high-order cognitive questions such as understanding, analysis, application and discussion, while the differences between the two groups are relatively small in the basic questions of memory.
