INFORMATION LAW: DEFENDED DISSERTATIONS AND MY MEMOIRS
As a result of solving the problem identified at the meeting of the editorial board of the journal Information Law dated 12/20/2024, based on the textbook Lopatin V.N. Information Law (3rd ed., rev. and add. M.: Prospekt, 2021), a list of dissertation studies on the problems of information law, including more than 200 dissertations, was prepared. successfully protected over the past 50 years from 1975 to 2024. The specified list (hereinafter referred to as the List), prepared with the participation of members of the Commission on Information Law, Legal Informatization and Information Security of the Association of Lawyers of Russia, is posted on the website of the ALR. My colleague Professor of the Department of Legal Informatics, Information and Digital Law, Faculty of Law, Lomonosov Moscow State University, Doctor of Law, Professor Vitaly Severin, in his speech on 03/25/2024 at the plenary session of the Scientific and Practical Conference: "Topical issues of information and Digital law" with the report "Modern problems of information law as a science and academic discipline", conducted an analytical scientific analysis of this List, providing statistical data of interest to the scientific community of our country in the field of information law. Studying the List in detail, I was surprised to find that I have a certain relationship to at least a hundred defended papers, as a supervisor or consultant, an opponent or a scientist who signed a review of the abstract or a leading organization, finally, as a member of the dissertation council, a member of the accounting or working committee of the dissertation council. Of course, it is impossible to comment on each work in a small article, but there are works that have unusual memories.
