Enhancing Electric Machine Education: An Integrated Approach Using 3D-Printed Models, Multiple Intelligences, and Gamifica-tion

This study explores how to improve the teaching effect of the "Electrical Machinery Principles and Operations" course by combining constructivist learning theory, multiple intelligence theory, and gamification strategies. We introduced 3D printing models, diversified teaching tools and gamification elements to solve the shortcomings of traditional teaching methods in this course. The effectiveness of these interventions was evaluated through a case study of 30 students divided into three groups. The results show that the three groups of students have significantly improved in knowledge construction, intellectual development and learning motivation. These findings suggest that incorporating these teaching strategies can create a more engaging and productive learning environment for electromechanical education, or will change the way technical subjects are taught in vocational and higher education.
