Construction and Practice of CNC Technology Course Based on Engineering Education

According to the requirements and standards of engineering education and first class course, the main educational goal of the CNC technology is to cultivate composite talents with strong industry background knowledge, engineering practical ability, and competent industry development needs. We have adopted measures such as reforming course objectives, optimizing course content, innovating teaching models, and improving evaluation systems to solve the problems of high order course objectives, challenging course content, and innovative teaching models in teaching practice. A high-level teaching plan centered on student development, with practical exploration as the main line, and guided by job competency has been constructed and implemented. Three years of course construction has shown that since the implementation of the advanced teaching plan based on engineering education, the proportion of excellent course grades has increased by nearly 20 percentage points, the pass rate of students participating in the CNC vocational skills certification is as high as 100%, and more than 10 student patents related to the practical projects of this course have been produced. This indicates that the advanced teaching plan of integrated engineering education can achieve the high-level goals of the course. Practice has proven that the construction strategy of first-class CNC technology courses integrating engineering education has significantly improved students' engineering abilities, and these strategies have good demonstration and promotion value.
